I just want to post a little PSA: I share a lot of content on here and I do so at a much lower rate than other content creators. I do this because I don’t necessarily want to keep my content behind a huge paywall plus I enjoy engaging with the community as it is. However, over the last few months, I’ve had people take my content from here and repost it, without even tagging me. I’ve had scammers use my content and nearly get away with it. Because of these things I feel frustrated and disrespected, and I have decided to raise my prices.
I make so much of my content free and accesible on all platforms, so I do think it’s unreasonable that my content would be taken from here and shared elsewhere without my consent.
I can’t protect myself and my content when the people I share it with don’t help me do the same. I can’t keep low prices for everyone wheb individuals steal my content from here. The fact that I make content isn’t a secret, however it’s still mine to share, not yours. I haven’t raised my OnlyHams prices and I have never planned to. But it’s unfair to think that I create so much content just to be disrespected, and unfortunately selfish decisions like that effect everyone who’s subs to my content.
Please remember if you want to share my stuff, just ask. I’ll give you specific things to share. But just taking it will lead to changes that I feel like I have to make.
I’ll be updating the details later this week with price changes. I promise not to price gouge, but in my effort to provide equitable pricing, a firm boundary that I’ve always had in place has been crossed and I need to make some adjustments. For everyone who has been here as long as you have THANK YOU. I love this community and I love getting fat. If you’ve used my content and want to apologize or clarify, please reach out.
