It is difficult to find a job when you do not have papers in a new country, the jobs that you get usually do not pay the minimum salary but rather much less for a 12-hour job. My first jobs were in the kitchen because it is something I like but the truth was they were horrible, especially one where it seemed that a girl hated me because for whatever I was wrong she would tell the boss to throw me out. My schedule there was from 7 am to 11 pm and they gave me 2 hours of rest, in that place I literally did everything and each day I ended up more tired than the previous one, the truth is, I am grateful that they fired me, I was very unhappy there. There were months where I didn't have a job, I barely had enough money to pay the rent or to eat, but not for both. One of a few times I owed a month and if I did not pay I did not enter and all I had was to survive the following days but I had to pay it because if not, they would not let me in, seriously they are horrible moments that I do not wish for anyone, I also had to my best friends who helped a little since they were in Europe I think that if it weren't for them I don't know it would have happened to me but thank God I never had to be on the street like many immigrants looking for a better future
