Good morning 💕 I’ve really been enjoying my mornings lately. I did take a moment to make this video but otherwise I’ve been avoiding my phone and computer for at least an hour after waking up. The more I do it, the more time I’m tempted to stay away from screens!
My first little hits of dopamine now come from stepping outside into the cold morning air, journaling a happy thought, or getting lost in any random book from the shelf rather than notifications from social media. This morning I started drawing one of the hanging plants in Ben’s house and suddenly an hour had passed by and my coffee was cold.
I know not everyone has the luxury of making their own schedule and staying off of their computer in the morning. So I just want to say thank you to all of you for giving me the gift of time, freedom, and peace, especially in the mornings, which are oh-so-sacred to me. Your support means the world, and I couldn’t be more grateful ❤️
