The appraisal came back on Monday, at the very, very end of the 10 day period that they were allowed to have it back by *of course.* Thankfully, it actually appraised a healthy amount over what I am paying so I won't have to be making up the difference in cash. Big sigh of relief, however the lender is requiring that the exterior of the home be painted prior to closing in order to qualify for financing. Painters are BOOKED OUT FOR THE ENTIRE SUMMER 🥵 I had to bribe and hire a contractor AND choose paint colors purely online in less than a day. WTF. However, it was a stressful couple of days but now I am feeling settled. I chose 3 different color combos that I think will look nice (unfortunately in this situation I couldn't test any of them on the front of the house prior to deciding) and my top pick, the painter thought would look the best. Another yey 👏🏻 Anywho.... so that is my chaotic life in a nutshell. I am super excited for all the projects that will come with this home. I'm quite a handy gal you know.... Maybe I'll update some DIY projects if you would like to see them....? Other things swirling around in my brain (if that wasn't enough)....
