Damn it. I am going to have a big bruise on my butt! A crazy storm whipped through here last night. It was pounding rain and big gusts with sustained winds. It was so loud I was wide awake long before day light, worried sick about my bird cages having flipped in the gusts. As soon as first light came I checked the camera. Fuck. Many cages flipped. I immediately went to help the birds, ignorantly just slipping my flip flops on over socks in my haste. Only a few were injured and killed but it was still very sad. 😥 As I was stepping I slipped on a wet rock and fell hard, my tailbone impacting a rock. I don't think it's broken or fractured. I think it would hurt a lot more. It definitely hurts though. I was quick with anti inflammatory pills and I've been lying down icing it since I got back. I've had quite the run of injuring myself lately. I hope this ends! I really wanted to shoot today but I don't see how now. 😡 Being hurt or sick is always frustrating to me. I don't enjoy being stuck taking down time when I have much to do. I hope your Monday is off to a much better start!! 😘
