Apparently in some forum, there was a situation where someone in investment banking met this girl on a dating app and gave her an STI. Apparently the girl (or her friends?) published some screenshots detailing the saga on a forum and it spread like wildfire. I thought it was kind of crazy that this sort of stuff spreads like this and can cause reputational issues, especially considering the fact that 50%??? of ppl (correct me if I'm wrong) in the US contract an STI at some point in their livesγ I'm pretty damn lucky I have never caught any STIs (yet) but I'm certain it will happen one day. The odds are definitely stacked against me. π
