I got distracted by this semi that almost hit me as I was trying to change lanes and was looking at the next light and not the one immediately in front of me (they were super close together). Totally my fault and I deserve a spanking in addition to whatever fine I’ll have to pay. It’s been many many years since I’ve gotten a ticket and the cop was very angry so I didn't even try to be cute, I just accepted my fate and went about my day.
