So as of today I have quit my job. For those of you who didn’t know, I was a social worker for the past 2 years. My job was to make sure families got what they needed to survive. Today alone I moved 620 pounds of food to feed families over this weekend, got 17 kids new shoes and clothes, and helped get glasses for every child who needed them in my care.
I honestly loved it and hated it, having to constantly be stressed and overworked and unable to do as much as I wanted to every time I helped someone because we didn’t get enough donations for everyone.
I’m going to be doing content creation full time on top of caring for my dying grandmother. She has vascular dementia and recently caught covid. She doesn’t really have the strength to even open her eyes anymore.
Anyways, I’m going to be doing a lot more stuff from this point forward until I go to graduate school in the fall.
