Life update! -
I’m sure most of you don’t know what’s been going on behind the scenes. The past month has been incredibly hard for me, my gf’s dad very suddenly passed a month ago now, this entire time we’ve have been incredibly busy trying to sort things out as it’s been left to basically just us to deal with. Unfortunately at the funeral we caught covid, so did a lot of her family that are incredibly immune compromised with bad health conditions, we’ve been worried a lot about them, fortunately a few have began recovering whilst others have been getting worse. I’ve been exhausted, but I’m getting better. Our nextdoor neighbour abused his cat and abandoned him on our doorstep two weeks ago, I spoke to my landlord about keeping the cat and he agreed to let me keep it, until a week later he made ridiculous demands that the whole house would need to be professionally cleaned, washed, treated, fumigated, de odeurized, and pest control if we decided to keep him which would cost a small fortune. So I’ve had to look for a new home for him, I found someone who agreed to take him aslong as we paid for the neutering and vaccines, I had to say goodbye to him on Saturday and I’ve been quite depressed about it as I had begun to bond with him, I had named him void, and I had a few fans who helped buy him some toys and things he needed, I already miss him quire a lot 😔. During all of this I’ve had my end of module assignment that is due in tomorrow, it’s worth 40% of my mark so I’ve been desperately trying to get what I can do, done this past week. I’ve been stressed out of my mind, as despite me telling my tutor everything that has happened they still refused to give me an extension. If you’re wondering why my customs have been closed this month, this is why 🤣 apologies for not being so active in dms, but I’ve had a lot on my plate and I haven’t been able to talk about it till now as I wanted to make sure I had a handle on things and that I was getting better mentally and physically.
