Trigger warning. ‼️ To all of us survivors, and to those who struggle with ideation…This poem from Bojack Horseman is deeply moving and relatable. Please know that it can get better. You are not alone. ❤️24/7 Crisis Line:Dial 988 in the US or Canada.“The weak breeze whispers nothingThe water screams sublimeHis feet shift, teeter-totterDeep breath, stand back, it’s timeToes untouch the overpassSoon he’s water boundEyes locked shut but peek to seeThe view from halfway downA little wind, a summer sunA river rich and regalA flood of fond endorphinsBrings a calm that knows no equalYou’re flying nowYou see things much more clear than from the groundIt’s all okay, it would beWere you not now halfway downThrash to break from gravityWhat now could slow the dropAll I’d give for toes to touchThe safety back at topBut this is it, the deed is doneSilence drowns the soundBefore I leaped I should’ve seenThe view from halfway downI really should’ve thought aboutThe view from halfway downI wish I could’ve known aboutThe view from halfway down.”
