Up until quite recently, those caves were inhabited. They have sense been converted to fancy hotels. This photo, however, was taken in one of the caves surrounding the city along a beautiful hike. Loved Napoli, but tomorrow the road trip continues on to the Amalfi Coast! 🇮🇹🌊⛰️ Pro Tip: Driving in Italy is very easy, and roadtripping is definitely the best way to take in all the beauty the country has to offer!
