I think I finally got biscuits mastered!! Mmmmmm!!! 😋🥰 Oops....I didn't measure exactly like usual so... here's approximately what is in them. Freeze the extra, either before baking or after. Problem was, I went back for thirds and they were gone! So I'll double this next time and try to put some in the freezer!🤦😂 1)Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2)Mix together in large bowl: 10 c. of flour 1/2 ...

Vampire Slaying... I mean mulberry picking! 😂🤦 There are some really interesting varieties of mulberry. I'm hoping to start some new ones, in particular the white ones because they're even tastier than the black! http://seattlegardenfruit.blogspot.com/2016/06/mulberry-varieties.html?m=1

The struggle is real 😂🤦

Let's go camping! Look at this baby!! 😍

Just over here eating cherries and pineapple and growing a watermelon. IDK who dished up that plate of gestational diabetes...😳😋 I didn't make it through even half of it. Nothing like some caramel drizzled icecream over warm rhubarb pie!

Since I shared about the new litter of bunnies yesterday, I thought I'd tell you more about the Rex breed we raise. Their guard hairs and undercoat are the same length, giving them the feel and appearance of soft plush velvet. Uses for the breed include fur, meat, show, and pet. They come in mini size as well as standard and a variety of colors. Our goal is to enclose a small section of the farm and raise them co...

Tomorrow marks 6 months since I started setting up my OF account. I want to say THANK YOU for putting me all the way into the top 30% of content creators on here! 💞 It's been rough...much of my time has been limited to low activity or spent in bed staring at the ceiling. Although not amounting to much financially, OF has given me a fun outlet and motivation for my creative energy. I'm excited to see what t...

There's some debate whether this is an edited photo... it's dated between 1915-1930, Rio Grande Gorge, NM. Possibly during construction of the Elephant Butte Dam. Some say it's not possible but there are so many variables to what's pictured that I believe it's entirely possible this is a legit photo of a real event. What do you think? 🤔 https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Elephant_Butte_Dam

I miss the cow's milk but goat's milk isn't bad...not quite as sweet but basically the same when I did a taste comparison. Will be trying the sheep's milk soon and I can hardly wait... It's supposed to be sweeter than cow's milk! Nothing like some air conditioning and a glass of cold fresh raw milk on a really hot summer day! Check out the link below for some up-to-date science facts you may n...

Just finished making and devouring supper... You're gonna want this recipe I created for Jalapeno Popper Pie! The pics won't disappoint either... 🔥😋 Two quick tips...1) smash unpeeled garlic cloves with a wide knife to peel easily and 2) boil jalapenos with the seeds removed and drain to minimize the heat if you're sensitive to spicy foods but still enjoy the flavor! Happy Independence weekend!

Wild Purslane...with a little butter, Himalayan pink salt, and onion slices. I'd say one of my favorite greens, the texture and flavor make it stand out. Put it on your must try list! Prevalent in gardens and fields along the east coast. I haven't seen any out on the prairies.

Homemade rolls and carrot soup last night...I followed a traditional quick dinner roll recipe online but substituted half whole wheat flour and added a little more raw sugar... like a quarter cup...to sweeten. I used the InstantPot high pressure cooker setting one minute with whole carrots, goat milk, chicken seasoning, butter and Himalayan pink salt, then used an immersion blender to puree smooth. Saves time choppin...

Superfood Chocolate Bites 💞...I rarely ever measure, I mean that's what those pretty brown eyes are for, right!? 😜 Unfortunately that means I don't have an exact recipe for you, you'll have to adjust the amounts as desired...or listen to your gut...or whatever moves your soul... 10 scoops Naturelo Raw Greens powder, 1/4 c. They say it takes good genes, but good genes come from generations of healthy...our gut microbiome effects our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our diet effects our microbiome...we can change up the cycle, be healthier than the generation previous...I eat well, I make my own aloe juice for all kinds of uses...hair, skin...

Ever seen the rain coming down on a sunny day!? We will be home with the girls in a couple hours... after replacing this tire. I think the shred pattern is cool! Thankfully it happened on a side road only a few miles from a tire center. 🤦😜 The kids are about as excited as I am!

Oh look what we found!!!! KUCHEN!!! These look amazing! It was hard to pick a flavor because there were so many! Pumpkin, chocolate chip, rhubarb... We went with a blueberry and a raspberry. They're frozen so I've got to let them thaw, but trust me, they won't be lasting too long around here! I'm hoping maybe I have finally found a genuine amazing old fashioned kuchen!! And that cheese!?!! 😋 It was...

You wouldn't know it from my miserably failed attempts at starting flowerbeds from scratch this year, I actually DO have a green thumb...over $200 worth of plants and bulbs and I have almost nothing to show for it between the drought and the goats. 🤦 So I've been living vicariously through other's flowers...today I was delighted to stumbled across some well-done beds at a park. There were even a couple...
