Sometimes I get weird ideas and create yumminess... 😁😋 I made a huge batch of biscuits on Sunday...99 to be exact, and put some unbaked into the freezer because they are so handy to have made up. Tonight I put a large can of sliced pears in a deep 9 by 13 casserole dish, topped them with a layer of frozen biscuits, dusted those with cinnamon and sugar and baked it. Then I took some frozen rhubarb and made rhuba...

Easiest icecream cake ever.... Two cartons of icecream, leave at room temperature till soft enough to smash into a 9 by 13 casserole dish. You can use different flavors. One flavor on the bottom then a layer of ice cream sandwiches then the second carton on top and a layer of Cool whip over that. Decorate as desired. I've also occasionally used a layer of frozen or canned fruit. Raspberries are amazing! Crumbled ...

September is the best birthday month...the weather has been gorgeous! I received a Brownie Cookie cake and fried spice pockets from the neighbor, bought myself an adorable Great Pyrenees pup for the sheep, Beau sent flowers, mama kitty had some really cute fluffy kittens...I feel pretty spoiled and the month isn't over! 💞 ♥️ Brownie Cookie Cake ♥️ Make your own out-of-this-world weirdly delish and e...

New rug... farmhouse style handmade from a local hutterite colony...not sure it goes well with my existing bedroom decor. Don't mind the wrinkled drapes, they are going in the dryer before I hang them. I also need to pick a wall color after the very dated seven layers of wallpaper get removed... maybe an off white or eggshell? I was originally thinking a sheepskin rug here, might still go with that. What do you t...

Sometimes you just don't feel photogenic... clothes don't fit right...bad hair day...or whatever. Then there are those random moments where a picture just doesn't seem like it should be edited...a pair of jeans that finally fit...just right...the azure sky beckons a break to soak up the sun on long legs and a rough day doesn't seem too bad. 🤷🔥😉

Let's make 9 grain flaked oatmeal! 💞 Boil water, add salt to taste and some coconut oil then raw 9 grain flakes and dried fruit of choice, stir briefly while simmering on low. Turn off heat and cover for about 5 minutes. Top with a little honey or raw sugar and your favorite milk if desired. I used dried cranberries this morning, chopped apple, fresh or dried, chopped pitted dates, raisins, etc are all good. ...

There's nothing like fresh raw homemade saurkraut to pile up on a luscious Ruben sandwich...so let's make some in a jar! I'm using a half gallon jar because I love it so much! So healthy too! We need to get back to eating more raw probiotic-rich natural fermented foods as our ancestors did. I added green tomatoes and purple onion for some color and flavor. You can grab these handy kits at big box or g...

Do you have a favorite sleep aid? Or do you just sleep like a baby every night? More like a husband would be more accurate... 😂🤦 I've been taking this probiotic for years at bedtime and swear by them for better rest, but also I recently discovered that a couple drops of lavender massaged into my feet really helps. I have a blend of my favorite floral oils for relaxing and anxiety as well. I believe nutritio...

From a dear friend... 💕The courage to heal is everything... cuz when you do, for the 1st time, you're able to really truly see & be present with those you love & create the legacy you desire. 💫 For the 1st time your attention is not absorbed by your own needs to the exclusion of others...even though up till now you've felt torn in a million directions by everyone's needs.
